The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has a rich history of providing K-9 services to the citizens of Montgomery County and surrounding counties. The K-9 Program at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is focused on empowering our law enforcement efforts with the aid of highly trained K-9 units. These dogs are not just officers; they are partners in crime prevention, search and rescue missions, and community engagement, providing invaluable services to both their human counterparts and the community at large. These highly trained teams are available to assist whenever the need arises and are continuously training in order to stay efficient in their role.
