Welcome to the Montgomery County D.A.R.E. Program

(Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program—an integral part of our community's commitment to empowering youth with the knowledge and skills to make healthy and responsible choices. Implemented in partnership with local schools, law enforcement, and community organizations, the D.A.R.E. program aims to educate students about the dangers of substance abuse, violence, and other risky behaviors. Through interactive lessons, role-playing exercises, and open dialogue, D.A.R.E. officers engage with students to build resilience, self-confidence, and decision-making skills, ultimately helping them navigate the challenges they may face in adolescence and beyond. By fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and youth, the Montgomery County D.A.R.E. program not only promotes drug prevention but also strengthens community ties, instilling a sense of trust, respect, and cooperation among participants. Welcome to our D.A.R.E. program, where we are dedicated to empowering the next generation to lead healthy, drug-free lives and become positive contributors to our community.
